What is the Arts District in Bremerton?

Bremerton has one of the largest and most diverse official fine arts districts in the northwest. Centered in downtown Bremerton at 4th Street and Pacific Avenue, the city's rich Arts District includes, eateries, a fine art gallery, three museums, two performing art stages, a cinema, arcades, and unique shops.

In addition to the Arts District, other sites of interest include the USS Turner Joy located on the Mentor Waterfront Boardwalk.

What is First Friday Art Walk?

In Downtown Bremerton and Manette you will find businesses and galleries that host local artists to show their fine art, ceramics, sculpture and other creations. Every month has different entertainment and live music sprinkled in breweries and cafes. Many businesses and restaurants host First Friday specials. This is a great night to get out, visit with friends, and support our local merchants.

When is Art Walk?

Art Walk is every First Friday of the year, rain or shine. Join us from 5:00pm–8:00pm.

If you visit our Businesses page, you can find all the businesses that participate. They will be separated by art walk hosts, restaurants and entertainment.

What kind of art is accepted at First Friday Art Walk?

A wide variety of mediums and themes are accepted at the First Friday Art Walk. 2-Dimensional, 3-Dimensional, and performance art is accepted.

Can I show at the Collective Visions Gallery?

The Collective Visions Gallery is a cooperative gallery and has curated shows around their membership. Every year they hold a juried competitive show in which open registration is encouraged for anyone.

I am an artist and would like to be interviewed, do I need to be a professional?

You certainly do not need to be a full time artist to have a featured interview on our site or social media. We highly encourage emerging artists to participate and showcase their artwork! Please contact us at firstfriday@downtownbremerton.org to inquire about being featured.
